Shield Maiden of Rohan

We all know the scene from the movie.

Eowyn cuts down the fell beast that lunges for her fallen Uncle and King, slays it in two blows, then proceeds to fend off and defeat the Witch King of Angmar- a feat even Aragorn could not accomplish. A scene that captured our imaginations with her battle cry of 'I am no Man' echoing through the generations.

Fuck that bitch up queen.

Its a scene that lives in my head all the time. Facing against impossible odds after being told at every turn-you don't belong here- and prevailing when hope seems lost.

I only hope I captured a fraction of the power she makes us feel.
